Chapter 1: Haunted Towers Entrance to Rooftop Pool

Luigi begins his journey at the entrance of the Haunted Towers and must navigate his way to the Rooftop Pool. Enter the courtyard immediately after the entrance to confront two large plants. These leafy adversaries set the tone for the kind of ghostly green foes you'll encounter throughout your journey.

After clearing the courtyard, head left into the Tower Lobby. Proceed upstairs to find the plant nursery where a new plant is growing from the floor. This new growth requires water to bloom fully. Locate the wooden bucket in the room and crank the water valves. There are two valves to manage: one in the nursery and another on the stairs leading up.

Once the wooden bucket is filled with water, pour it onto the new plant to open a route to the next floor and the creepy rumpus room.

Haunted Towers Gem #9

Before progressing, take a detour upstairs to the Skybridge above the Tower Lobby. Here, three hanging plant enemies await. Use your vacuum to bait their attacks, dodge, and suck them up. Once defeated, you'll receive a shimmering gem for your trouble, adding to your collection.

Chapter 2: Rumpus Room to Family Room

Enter the rumpus room and head to the right side. Use the dark-light on a patch of wall near the ceiling. Then, interact with the toy building in the center. Pay attention to the blue jack-in-the-box, which is moving. Open it to reveal another gem.

Make the doll's head follow you in a circle in an anti-clockwise direction to make it fly off, revealing yet another shiny prize. Afterward, defeat the five greenies present in this room to clear it. Proceed to the family room next. Here, you'll find a gold carcass in the sink and an invisible chest filled with cash beside it. Use the dark-light to reveal the chest, grab the goodies, and move forward.

Boo - Boo.B.Trap

In the family room, locate a hidden picture frame on the wall using the dark-light device. Interact with this frame to reveal Boo.B.Trap, a mischievous ghost awaiting his fate.

Haunted Towers Gem #10

In the solarium, accessible via the left door from the family room, pull a cord at the bottom of the stairs to unfold them properly. There's also a hidden chest on a table in this room. Use your dark-light to make the chest appear and claim another gem.

Chapter 3: West Wing Adventures

Heading upstairs, look for hearts in a chest to the left. Peek into the next room to spot three blue ghosts. Move into the west bedroom and vacuum the ceiling fan to reveal three beds. Uncover the ghosts hiding under the blankets by pulling them off. The ghosts switch places, but track them carefully to capture them. With the ghosts subdued, take the key that appears and use it to open the door to the West Hall.

Navigate through the West Hall to reach the crow's nest. Peek through a gap in the wall to observe the west wing. Carefully avoid the birds and proceed to the conservatory.

In the conservatory, a central piano is surrounded by balloon plants. Though the piano appears dormant, use a balloon to ascend to the first floor. Engage in a quick treasure game to earn a chest full of cash and another gem. Continue left to find the door leading back to the crow's nest. Be cautious of the floor; it can collapse under you. Head outside and use your dark-light to reveal a key portrait and collect the key. Proceed back to the West Hall to unlock the previously locked door.

Chapter 4: Rooftop Pool Showdown

Upon entering the west bathroom, deal with several greenies, a slammer, and a purple ghost. The purple ghost will attempt to engulf you and divide into smaller forms when attacked, so save it for last. Defeat the ghosts to continue.

In the bathroom, pull on the toilet paper roll to the left to uncover a hidden gem. Interact with the poolside chair to be transported roughly to the secret rooftop pool area. Here, use your dark-light on the pool to reveal a missing statue on the upper left side.

Triggering the cutscene unveils the special key, but first, Luigi must engage in combat with a few more purple ghosts. Watch the water for movements to know where to deploy your strobulb effectively. Once the initial apparition is vanquished, two more will attack. Defeat them to claim the key. Just as Luigi thinks he's victorious, a ghost dog appears and tosses the key out the window.
