As the gaming world continues to evolve, players eagerly anticipate enhancements to their favorite titles. One notable announcement has come from the developer Hexworks, which has revealed new features for its action role-playing game, Lords of the Fallen. Gamers can look forward to exciting improvements when the PlayStation 5 Pro becomes available next month.
Lords of the Fallen is set to incorporate capabilities specific to the PS5 Pro. The enhanced version will deliver a notable increase in pixel density, providing a much sharper image compared to the standard PlayStation 5. This means players will enjoy richer visuals and finer details in their gameplay experience.
The upgraded Performance Mode will allow Lords of the Fallen to operate at 4K resolution, upscaled from 1440p, while maintaining 60 frames per second. This mode promises clearer distant details and enhanced textures both in character models and various environments within the game.
In contrast, Quality Mode is aimed at achieving maximum visual quality, delivering native 4K graphics at a stable 30 frames per second. This will highlight the intricate visuals that span the dual realms of Axiom and Umbral, setting a high bar for graphical fidelity in the genre.
Furthermore, Hexworks indicated that the confirmation of PS5 Pro support is only the beginning, as they plan additional updates and enhancements for Lords of the Fallen on all platforms. However, specific details regarding these future improvements were not disclosed.
In light of Sony's recent announcement regarding the PS5 Pro, numerous studios are now revealing their plans to optimize various titles for the upgraded console. For instance, Arrowhead Game Studios has confirmed that its acclaimed online shooter, Helldivers 2, will also receive enhancements for the PS5 Pro, though the specifics are still awaited.
Additionally, Team Ninja has announced that Rise of the Ronin will feature better visuals and frame rates on the advanced console. Meanwhile, Remedy has shared that Alan Wake 2 will also benefit from both Quality and Performance mode upgrades.
The PS5 Pro is scheduled to launch on November 7.
