Disney Announces Exciting Plans for Destination D23 in 2025 at Walt Disney World Resort

A significant event is on the horizon for Disney fans, as Destination D23 has been scheduled for 2025. This exciting gathering promises a larger and more immersive experience than ever before, drawing attention to the enchanting worlds created by Disney.

The event, known as Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, will occur at Walt Disney World Resort from August 29 to 31, 2025. The venue for this occasion will be Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, and the size of the event will be twice that of prior editions. Although Anaheim's D23 typically hosts a larger turnout, there will still be abundant attractions to look forward to at this venue.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can expect exclusive presentations from various Disney departments, including the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Studios. Along with these presentations, guests will experience spectacular entertainment, sneak peeks into the diverse realms of Disney, and unique interactive activities, as well as shopping opportunities.

The last Destination D23 at Walt Disney World took place in 2023, showcasing major updates including a new land featuring Encanto, an Indiana Jones presentation, and Journey of Water inspired by Moana. With the success of the recent events, fans can look forward to thrilling new developments and revelations from various panels, such as the Disney Entertainment Showcase and Disney Experiences Showcase.

For those eager to attend, further information regarding ticket sales will be shared in Spring 2025. Additionally, starting January 1, 2025, three new D23 Gold Membership plans will be available. These plans provide fans with more options for engaging with the Disney experience.

1. The Gold Member Essential plan at $49.99 per year includes a Savings Passport that offers discounts with Disney and its partners, a collectible Stitch pin, a car magnet featuring Goofy and Max, a special Disney Lorcana trading card featuring Iago from Aladdin, and many other goodies.
2. The Gold Member Choice Plan costs $99 and allows members to select one of four items: a D23-themed Spirit Jersey, along with a fan bundle featuring useful items, a box of 10 character pins, or a reproduction of the entrance to Disneyland Park plaque.
3. The Gold Complete Plan, which encompasses all items, is available for $299.99 per year.
